Wasatch Front 100

This past weekend I ran the Wasatch Front 100-miler. It was the toughest race I've ever run, with some really difficult trail, most between 7,000 and 10,000'; about 26,000' of total vertical climb and an equal amount of descent. But awesome views. Just an excellent adventure. I finished, in 28 hours 58 minutes ... a sub-30, which is more than I could have hoped for (and good enough for the cougar buckle!). I couldn't have done it without the awesome pacing of Mikio, and the great crew support of Marilyn. Thanks so much you two.

Getting at it.

Nice view.

Another nice view.

And another.

Sunset.

Sunset.

A high point, literally ... 10,431'

Night time running.

Horizon.

With my awesome pacer Mikio.
Mikio would pace me for the last 60 miles and
is the reason I broke 30.
