Silver Falls

Had a really nice run with a great crew at Silver Falls today. Must have passed about 10 falls altogether. Very sweet!

Lithia Loop Trail Marathon

Had a fun time in Ashland this past weekend with Guy and Erika running Lithia Loop. The course has just one hill, but it goes for about 8 miles with about 3,000' of climb. Mostly forest road, but much of the descent was a crazy bunch of single track switchbacks that never seemed to end. Lots of fun! Finished in about 3:58. Happy with that.

Cascade Crest 2014

I went into CCC with a cold this year. After a really rough first 20 miles, things slowly got better. The second half was decent. With the help of Gaby and Guy, who did an awesome job crewing and pacing, I managed to finish in 25:17:15 ... exactly the time I finished in last year. That remains my PR on this course.
With Gaby on Thorp Mountain, 85 miles into it (déjà vu)
