Condor 25K
Ran the Condor again this year. One of my favorite races, held in memory of Condor. I'm sure he was smiling that day. RDs Tia, Jan and John did a fantastic job. The volunteers were great. Everyone I talked to had a great time. The best part for me was seeing so many friends finish and succeed ... some of them for the first time at this race. Awesome sauce!

Cascade Crest 2015
Had a great time at CCC again this year. Big contingent from Corvallis/Salem/Albany: John, Ken, Dennis, Mikio, Albany-Ken and I were running; Gaby, Sharon, Scott L, Sander, and Josh L were crewing and pacing. The weather was hellish. Cold driving rain in the night and second day; the peaks and ridges were brutal. But we all got it done! A special thank you to Gaby, who for the fourth time now, did an awesome job pacing me in from Lake Kachess.

Three Sisters
Had a very special weekend running around the Three Sisters with Gaby, Cary, Scott, Sander, and Becca. Very grateful for the day. A beautiful place with beautiful friends. It doesn't get better.

McDonald Forest 50K ... Gathering of the Tribes
Had a great time at the Mac 50K this past weekend. So great to see so many friends out having a fun time. RDs Ken and Dennis and all the volunteers did a fantastic job. The course had some added elevation, bringing the total to 7,000+'. It was a tad warm, but not outrageous. I managed a 5:39, good enough for 2nd in age (after Larry Stephens, who is incredible, having healed up from a broken leg just a few months ago!). Attached are some pics of Kiira helping Marilyn and me mark the Peavy/Section-36/Powderhouse section of the course the day before.

Fools Relay, Newport
Had a blast yesterday with Gaby and Ken at the Fools Relay. This is a 6 hour event, with a 2 loop course of 6 miles ... you complete as many loops as you can in the 6 hours. A fair bit of climb. I managed 11 loops for a total of about 33 miles, and the win! Granted, there were only about 10 runners in the solo category, but I'll take it :) Gaby and Ken did real well too, completing 10 loops each. Beer, pizza, and a bonfire afterward. Totally awesome sauce!

This is why I like Orcas so much. There is nothing like it. Well done Andrew! We are all so proud of you!
